The Howard Leight AIRSoft® tapered TPE earplug is designed to deliver extended-wear comfort, easy handling and a secure reusable fit in demanding workplace environments.
Patented comfort design: AIRSoft features a patented cushion of soft attenuating material around a pocket of air to improve comfort during prolonged wear. Advanced air pocket design: Internal noise-blocking fins and a four-flange profile help create an effective seal in the ear canal while applying less pressure than many traditional flanged reusable earplugs. Firm stem: The stem supports quick insertion and removal.
Reusable TPE construction: The plug can be washed and reused when maintained correctly. The range is available in corded and uncorded formats, with additional dispenser and refill options for selected variants.
Earplug Fitting & Maintenance Recommendations
Inspect: Prior to fitting, examine earplugs for dirt, damage, deformation or extreme hardness.
Discard: Discard immediately if earplugs are compromised.
Hygiene: Wash reusable earplugs with mild soap and warm water only. Pat dry and store when not in use. Do not treat with other substances, as the earplugs may degrade and compromise effectiveness. With proper maintenance, reusable earplugs can typically be used daily for 2–4 weeks.
Fitting: While holding the stem, reach a hand over your head and gently pull the top of your ear up and back. Insert the earplug so all flanges are well inside the ear canal.
Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Refer to the product instructions for correct fitting guidance.
